The ‘LookTel Money Reader’ uses the iPhone camera to identify $1, $2, $5, $10, $20, $50 and $100 bills before ‘speaking’ the value out loud.
Gary Kelly, executive director of Blind Wisdom and Ipplex advisor, says: “The LookTel Money Reader is fantastic because it reads money quickly at any location – even if there is no Internet connection available. One can use it and sort money as quickly as a sighted person can, and do this with total independence.”

Volkswagen in Norway have put together what they claim to be the world’s first test drive inside a print ad. Copies of the print ads they placed in various Norwegian magazines can be found here http://referanser.apt.no/Volkswagen/app. You have to download an app on your iPhone called Volskwagen Norge which then lets you ‘drive’ a car on the road on the print ad by hovering your iPhone over it. Really fricken cool.
Check it out.
